Uncle Sam Hat Mask
A paper plate mask with a stars and stripes top hat. A festive prop for any 4th of July parade or party.

How to do it
- 1
Cut the center out of a paper plate, leaving a circular frame for the mask.

Cut a tall hat shape from white cardstock.
- 3
Cut red paper strips and glue them across the hat with small gaps between each stripe.
- 4
Add a wide blue band across the bottom of the hat, then glue small white paper stars onto the blue band.
- 5
Glue the finished hat to the top of the paper plate frame.
Tips & extensions
A glue stick gives a cleaner finish than liquid glue and is easier for small hands.
