Hidden Message Father's Day Card
A taped paper shape gets covered in dot marker dots, then peels off to reveal a hidden "I ♥ Daddy" underneath.

How to do it

Cut a paper shape that says "I ♥ Daddy" and tape it onto the front of a card with painter's tape.

Have the kid cover the entire card with dot marker dots, including over the taped shape.

Let it dry, then carefully peel the shape away to reveal the hidden message.
Tips & extensions
Press the tape firmly so paint can't seep underneath. Mixing two or three colors makes the reveal pop.
