Yarn Sewn Spider Web

A poster-paper spider with holes ready for a kid to lace yarn through like a sewing card. Fine motor and patience practice.

🧒 Ages 3-5, 6-8⏱ 30 min🐛 Insects

How to do it

  1. 1

Draw a spider shape on poster paper.

  2. 2

Punch holes around the spider with a screwdriver or skewer.

  3. 3

Wrap a piece of tape around the tip of a length of yarn so it acts like a needle.

  4. 4

Have the kid lace the yarn through the holes to weave a web.
