How to do it

Sponge an orange paint circle in the middle of the card.

Use a small brush dipped in brown paint to draw a grid pattern inside the circle for the seeds.

Have the kid dip a finger in yellow paint and dab petals around the orange circle.

Brush a green stem and leaf below the flower.

Add a smiley sun in one corner.

Vary the sizes and shapes of the petals for a more natural look. Cotton swabs work well for younger kids' details.
